The refurbishment of a run-down and neglected Victorian ticket office and waiting room into a community space with kitchen, ancillary facilities, including re-landscaping of the north and west of the building to provide a new external social space. Receiving great acclaim from locals and visitors the project was awarded “Contribution to Society” at the 2023 annual Network Rail awards.
