The project

ep architects have developed a considered and community wellbeing led proposal for the wider regeneration of Mayflower Park in Southampton. This has been prepared with consideration of all key stakeholders needs and landholdings. We have consulted all parties including holding preliminary discussions regards flight paths from the airport and the blast zone which is present in this area of the waterside.

Commercial and sustainable requirements are central to these proposals with a carefully considered mixed use approach to delivering the proposed 3 million square feet of space and its focus around an extensive podium and dual tower proposal that will become the South coasts focal point and an internationally renowned destination.

Whilst bold and transformative the scheme and its viability benefit from an anchor tenant that would account for 1 million sq ft and become a destination of global significance attracting upwards of 7 million visitors per annum, providing economic benefits to not only Southampton, but the whole Solent region.

Creation of extensive public realm, burying of the road adjacent to the historic walls and sensitive extension into the waterfront to create stunning and imposing architecture and landscape for all to enjoy and experience.

ep architects are proud to share these proposals and thank our partners and clients for their guidance and enthusiasm, as well as economic reality to what we have visualised. All images and material shown is prepared in-house by ep architects, showing the great skill and ability of our talented and dedicated team.
